hi !
Somebody want to sell me a trail blazer 250cc 2 stroke engine....the problem is , i dont know nothing about this atv.
So i want to know whats the good and bad about it ?
The performance of this bike VS the yamaha warrior ?
And for last... the automatic transmission , is it killing the engine?
It's a lot of question i know.... but it will be very appreciated if you can help me

robarrior,
I think you would like the 250.Polaris has made this 250 2-stroke for quite a few years now.Put a $325 stage one kit on it and you'll be close to a warrior.Better yet buy a 400 sport or scram and one up him! Don't worry about the tranny being an auto. Ride it all day through tight trails and you will wonder why you thought shifting was fun.The tranny does steal a little from the motor but you can properly tune it to compensate for this.

The 250 can be much quicker than the warrior with some slight mods. I used to own a Banshee but got tired of being beat up all day long from the trails. I found my TB for $1600 and put in about $800 in mods. It will easily keep up with a 400. Stock for a TB is about 50-53mph. With the mods that I have I top out at 67mph. No its not my banshee but I have way more fun on my TB and not have to go home after a long ride and sit in a hot bath because of being thrown around.Very stable, comfortable, and can be very quick for a heavy 250 polaris.

I had a 98 trailblazer with a HPD pipe and carb jetting and clutch mods. I blew out two head gaskets before I melted the piston. Although the piston melted because it was 10 below and running too lean. In Waynoka with paddle tires it would keep up with a stock scrambler. I very much prefer the water cooled motor over hte air cooled.
