SP700 Oil Plug
#4
hey V8s10,
if that size allen wrench doesn't work it may be a torx head bolt size T-40. I have heard of three different size plugs. metric, standards, and torx (star heads). There is a wrech in the tool kit in your storage box that comes with the quad but I'm not sure if it fits. I just went out and bought me a nut driver with a bunch of bits (Lowe's $4.96) includes all different sizes of screwdriver bits, torx heads, and smaller sockets. You may need to get a death grip on your rachet when you get ready to loosen the plug. I had to get a buddy to help me raise my quad and hold it up almost resting on the rear racks to give me a better angle at the plug. had to bet the rachet to loosen the plug. hope this helps
