I have had my pred for a couple weeks now and am wanting to do some minor mods. I am looking into this Air Force kit first off. I want to wait awhile until I get a pipe for it, want some more options. But I am thinking of the Air Force and a K&N filter. Anyone have just this, or got any input on this? Also how is this air force kit installed. I know they say they'll install it for you but I would like to do it myself. Thanks

The kit works great, 6hp and 8 lbs of tq. at 3000 to 6000 rpm. install is simple and strait foward. You will have to modify your air box. comes with aluminum pieces to to do this with. You will have no problem installing it your self. It will work without a slip on but you will lose a little top end compared to a piped Pred.

 

SP700, I see you say 6hp and 8ftlbs. Is that with the pipe, or is that just the kit?

Test were done with a stock pred with w/bros pipe vs airforce kit with w/bros pipe. The hp increase was in the low to mid range, where you want it. You will see the majority of the increase with your stock pipe, just lose a little on the top end. your engine will rev alot faster after the carb mods.

 

get the kit and you won't be dissappointed!! promise. raced a predator that was stock, except for the wb slip on against mine that has the air force kit, ad it wasn't even close until we switched bikes and he beat me. he too was skeptical, until i pulled his pants down and beat him in front of everyone. made a believer out of him!!!!
