I talked to Don Jackson at Comet and he said the weights and
spring from the Polaris clutch will work with the 103HPQ clutch.
I guess it is more efficient, up to 25% more efficient right off
the bat. Thats okay by me! Thats about what the stock Polaris
clutch loses. GREAT I'LL TAKE ONE!!!!

Yes I would think the new comet clutch is built more efficiently. The HPD only adds to the current design and I am sure It is a big improvement, but an entire clutch that I am sure that is of different design should be better I would think. Then you should be able to add to that clutch to get even more!! I will have to read up on my Aaen clutch book some more, they talk about comet clutches for snowmobiles in there, so I may be able to come back here with more facts later.

If I was installing a hpd aggressive clutch would I need to port and polish the head right away to notice a differance? Or could I do it a month or two later. I do have the rcr stage one kit.

You dont have to port the cylinder. The clutch kit really dont have anything to do with the porting. That is a mod that will help your bottom end and all out pull. It is just a plus to do all around.
