UPS
I know for some people it depends, like I've ordered lots of stuff, but it was always left at the door. I know the UPS guy, so maybe that's why. Also, so things need to be signed for from the person that sent it to you. If your talking about Pure Polaris, you don't need to sign for it.

Call RCR and ask If they sent them and see about a tracking number so you can go to their website and track it. UPS normally doesn't just leave stuff at your door, however.... My uncle has driven for ups for over 20 years and I just happened to talk to him the other day about that. With me now, he always leaves my packages, but he hides them out of site for me. He said that they are normally required to get signatures, but that if he had to get a signature for everything that he would never get anything delivered, so... It is really up to the driver, the neighborhood and the package being delivered. In your case it probably hasn't reached you yet.

UPS
If you live in an apt. UPS will not leave your pkg. If the pkg requires money, you must sign. Depending on the value of the pkg you must sign. If you just live in a neighborhood then the driver will leave your pkg if you are not there to sign for it. Most residentials don't require a signature. So I guess the answer is to your question is no you don't have to be there for a driver to leave your pkg. If you aren't there and it does require a signature then we will leave you a delivery notice saying that we made a delivery attempt and about what time we will be back the next day. Or you can call the 1-800 # and make arrangements to get the box yourself at you local UPS center. hope this helps.

Like UPSman said (I'm one too!!), most of the time deliveries to single-family dwellings do not require a signature (CODs, adult beverages, computers & apartment bldgs being common exceptions). If the pkg can be left under cover, and out of drive-by sight then the driver will leave the pkg. If a driver does not feel comfortable w/ leaving the pkg then a post-it note should be left explaining the situation--and UPS will make 3 delivery attempts. These delivery notices can be signed by the customer and left on the door authorizing UPS to leave your pkg if you won't be around the next day. However the signed delivery notice releases UPS from liability for the pkg being stolen or other damage.
If no one will be around during the day then frequently the customer calls 1-800-PICK-UPS and makes arrangements to pick up the pkg themselves. If a delivery notice is left by the driver then keep it to use when you call as delivery notices are trackable too.
