Weird "clunk" when throttle is applied, what is it???
I have a '03 500 HO that I just bought in February, while first riding it I noticed a "clunk" noise that would happen occasionally when I applied the throttle, it would make this noise right before the bike started to move. I've been riding more since the weather got better and I keep on hearing this noise and it has me a little concerned. Again, it doesn't happen always but it does happen often. I've mentioned this to others and got mixed answers, some said their bikes do it, it's normal and said it's due to the EBS and others said they have never heard it and it's not normal. If anyone has any info on what this noise is, and if it is normal or not. I would greatly appreciate it!!
TIA

Alot of people have been concerned about this, most people say it is normal 95%. I hear it is from the EBS and nothing to worry about. Maybe only 5% of machines don't do it, so who knows what is causing it, but from all the people that say it does it, I wouldn't worry about it.
