Broken clips on Pred?
#11
Hey guys, anyone ever heard of "J.B Weld" ahhhhhh lol works great, patched a hole on my PVT case with it, seems to work well, and we use the stuff on all kinds of stuff around the farm whether its plastic or metal, JB weld has got u covered. Make sure u rough up the serfice well with some heavy grit sandpaper so it bonds good, its easy to use just mix equal parts of it together apply and let set for 24 hours, works great i tell ya. Just my 2 cents.
Thanks, Haz!

HI How do you like the weather in the maritime provinces today? 15 cm of snow and freezing rain!!! I used crazy glue on a price of my footboard which broke off after hitting a stump. It worked fine. I was told that there is a Jb weld that will melt plastic together. Hope you find something that works.

Yeah..i just used normal EXTRA STRENGHT crazy glue..seems to be holding ok..but i wont know for sure till i start riding. Only thing is if it breaks while im riding..i probably wont know it..and if i loose the peice im screwed! I might break it off again and try the JB weld way..

I would anyway, like you say, if you loose the piece your royally screwed, i think the JB weld will do ya good, but be sure to rough the are up before applying, i had to re-JB weld my PVT cover on my Xplorer cuz i didnt rough it up good enough, o ya also be sure and clean it good, i used some Carb and Choke cleaner to clean mine, then blew it dry with compressed air just to get all the moisture off, but ya thats the main thing with J.B Weld, it has to be good and clean and a lil roughing up and it will hold stronger than steel.
Good Luck, Haz!
