Default General info on Predator please.

Warrior, your not the first Raptor owner to say that about the location of the Predator shift lever. My friend says the same thing (a raptor owner). For some reason I've not found that. But like he said, maybe it's because I'm (a) used to an automatic and (b) used to a crotch rocket where as my azz is forward and feet are a little behind me. I don't know, I'm very comfortable on it. I don't feel comfortable on his Raptor, but I think that's because he's heavier and has the rear spring as tight as it goes. I feel like I'm sitting where the bike feels like it's on a downward slop, rear higher than the front. That make sense?

makes perfect sense. Im looking at getting the durablue rear shock drop bracket for just that reason. the raptor would really benefit from a lower center of gravity.

yeah, i know its been a while since ive replied...sorry

Um yeah im comin from a warrior to a raptor and with both i think they were pretty much the same. Ive ridden 300ex's and dirtbikes and the predator was the only thing i felt awkward on. Sorry i dont know what your saying about the shock. But that reminds me, the way you sit on the predator, it makes me feel like the *** is up and the quad is leaning forward. I dont know?

So far, my friend hasnt had any problems with his but he drives like a grandma...seriously, no joke. Hes had it for 3 months and he still stalls it. good luck, see ya

I felt like the shift lever was a little high until I got a set of riding boots. Suddenly, it was in the perfect position. It seems to me that the Predator was originally designed with serious riders in mind (which I am not... but I have some of the gear, I guess. LOL).

I have had a few other people ride my quad... and the only people who thought the shifter was too high were the guys in regular street-type shoes. No complaints from the buys in boots.
