Hey Geoff, First remove the inlet tube from the airbox. then loosen up the worm-clamp holding the carb to the intake boot. Make sure your fuel is off. There is a horizontally mounted screw on the bottom of the carb bowl, just above the clear drain tube. You can open that screw to drain the bowl of fuel. Rotate the carb 90 degrees, or you can even remove it totally from the intake boot. The screws Mikuni used to hold the bowl on are super soft. Even with top notch apex bits, mine still tried to round off. A small vise-grip can be used to clamp on the outer perimeter of the screws to brake them loose. I took a sample to a local hardware store and bought some replacement allen head screws. I just make sure to put a dab of blue loctite on the threads for installation. You'll see the jet once the bowl is off. Now is also a great time to drill out the pilot mixture screw plug. Small plug just in front of the bowl.
