Default New Trail Tech Computer with Tach

"Here is a what Trail Tech is working on for a tach. This is a quote from a Trail Tech Support Rep:

We are working on a tachometer project. A conceptual picture is attached
for you to see.

At this time, the unit would have the tach, a speedometer, a max rpm
registration, and a max speed registration.

Final size parameters haven't been determined yet, but it may be somewhat
larger than the current Endurance computer. It is most likely that any
design would be made to easily attach to the computer dashboard products we
already make. If you look closely at our dashboards, you will notice that
the computer protector is held on to the bar clamp with four small screws."

I have a copy of the prototype pic in my "Photo's" link for all to see. I've been getting great responses from the Tech support person, so any questions about it, let them fly!

Thanks for the info ProX, but I couldn't find the pic in your pics. Wanted to check out your buffing too. Kelly and Geoff are great at Trail Tech, the tach should be a nice piece.

That wasn't there before! Cool stuff. Looking like the Indy car steering wheel mounted pods. Thanks

G'day ProX.

Good work mate.
If it was ready today I would order one.

Thanks from down under, Geoff.

I have just received new information about the Trail Tech unit. From what I understood, they are working on a Tach AND a new speedo, but they will not be intergrated into the same unit, two different units. I have also received a picture of the Endurance II computer, and both are still in the development stages. Hopefully, there will be a way to mount both units on the same bar clamp. Any more info, I'll let you all know.

How will the tach work? Wire to the spark plug? Does it plug into the CDI? Will it update quickly unlike other digital tachs?
