Snow Tracks!!!
#1
I was searching on ebay and came across these Snow Tracks They look pretty cool and like a lot of fun. I dont know if they are worth $725, but a cool idea

Actually it's probably a great deal. Usually these types of kits run for $2,600 for the entire track and ski kit. But for that price, you can get a used sled with a 700 twin and have a rocket ride instead of having a top speed of 60 on a quad!

Yeah, but then again, you'll be the only quad out there running with the sleds!!! Sometimes its cool to stand out

You won't get anywhere near 60mph with those on your quad. Spinning big, heavy tracks is like cutting your hp 30-40%. http://www.mattracks.com/ They are currently selling kits with 4 tracks for your 4x4 quads OR trucks. Quad kits start at $4400!
Snowtrax website hasn't been updated since late '01, I think they're out of business.

Here is another company that makes some affordable track setups.
http://www.atvtrack.com/en/index.cfm
When I called them back in January they said a setup for the Predator was just over $1800. They are also not geared down like the Litefoot and you shouldn't need to swap out the rear axle like the snowtracks. tatou sells these things, no idea how much they cost, but they are not just for snow. They work in dirt and mud also, good for doing heavy work, no good for trail riding IMO. Personally I think the tires will outperform these in almost every single situation imaginable, except for deep snow. And for snow you'd be better off with a snowmobile. Just another overpriced gimmick.

take it from me i have a 74 tx 340 and when i accelerate the clutch kickes in around 4500rpm and that is the only way to move in 3-5 feet of snow. the whole under side of the atv will be full of snow pack and you will be goin 5mph. lol
