Predator doesn't like water!!! ??

My riding buddy just bought a new predator and this bike does not like water..I mean not even shallow water anytime the water comes up to the base of the cylinder the thing just dies and won't start until you push it to shore??? Anyone have a remedy, we tried firing at it with a garden hose but couldn't get it to die,,then drive it througha foot of water and bluuuuuhhhh! dead! Any ideas???Anyone notice the same thing.

Yup, zip tie those carb vent hoses up over the frame. That is the cause and cure right there, then it will be water happy all the way up till just under the air intake [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

This was the very first problem that polaris did not know about. It was a consumer that figured out that the carb vent hoses hung to low and when in shallow water it would die. Relocate the hoses and it will be fine.

I dont understand. Ive had the same problem. Hit water and then it dies and doesnt run right for about 5 minutes. What do i have to do. Move the Hoses that run out of the carb up higher over the frame. And is this the same problem did your friends preddy run well after it stalled out because mine has problems after water. It well start then stall again for awhile then it well run fine.
