POLARIS OR HONDA, WHICH IS BEST?
#1
Ok, I don't really care, just thought I'd get some dander up. But, seriously, I'm new on here, but what I've seen makes me wonder. I see guys post questions about their rides. Good questions. And they are completely ignored. Let somebody post junk, like my Banshee is a better sport utility than your Sportsman, and you guys eat it up. I know your on here for info, and fun. But it is obvious that some of you have good knowledge about polaris machines and others. I'm lucky, I have several machinist, mechanics and long time riders as friends who help me. Others are not as fortunate. Take a minute to help out these new owners and young guys. Then bash the heck out of one another. I know opinions and butts are the same, everyone has one and they all stink. Here's mine anyway.

Honda is of course they have a new theme going "Ride our bike and within a month you will look like the Hulk" What you do is buy the new Rubicon put you a set of lockers on it there is no 2 to 4 switch so from all that steering you will soon look like you are injecting steroids. If you don't go with the lockers when you are going up a steep hill and the drum brakes don't hold and you don't make it up the hill cause its not true 4 wheel drive you will wish you were bulked up like the mighty Hulk hehehe Both bikes are great just depends on what your needs are and I need a Polaris.

it is all personaly prefferance. if ya like bells and whistles and a little extra mantainace then get a polaris. if ya want rock solid dependability then go for honda.
polaris are faster and have better suspension (generally)
honda are rock solid, low mantainance (but must be maintained) and trouble free.

Well I guess xplr point was not which one is the best brand. I believe he is criticizing all those infantile posts that don't mean a thing, except to say that my quad is better than yours. I agree with him. Actually I believe that those posts keep away a lot of interested quad owners who don't wish to get into stupid discussions like that.
My opinion is that there is no such thing like the best brand. Some are better than others but what matters is the kind of terrain where you ride.
What I mean is that in some places a Sportsman is faster than a Banshee or a 400EX and of course vice versa. I know that some people aren't able to understand this dialectic, but that's okay.
Wish you all a great ride this weekend.
