I was considering doing some engine mods to my 01 scrambler 500 4x4, what would you guys consider would be a good idea, and also what is a waste of time/money?

For Stroke Tech makes a 628cc big bore kit. I cant find my email on it, but I believe it was around $850 with the core charges. They claim that no clutch mods are needed, but a pipe is recommended. You could also get a 42mm carb and air box mod. Aaen also has engine mods for the 500 motor

 

I am waiting until my engine gets worn, but when its time for a rebuild, im going with the 628cc from Mickey Dunlap @ fourstroke tech.
