unprofessional
You have yet to bring any facts to the table, just 2nd hand info that is mostly inaccurate. In case you have'nt noticed, no one else is degrading other company's but you. Just because you were not invited for test sessions and dyno pulls don't mean everyone that has products available were not tested for durability. HPD has sold engine's that have had problems, everyone that builds engine's has. You made the thread on the hpd pipe, nobody tried to dis-credit HPD or the Product. But just how hard is it to test the durability of a pipe, but it is just now being advertised, my guess is they waited until it produced the results they were looking for. How do you know that is not the case for the other company's, mabee they just found a combination that worked, tested it, and started selling it. Will HPD wait a year or two and see how long the big bore kit will last, before they sale it. NO, they will use quality parts, build it the best they can, when it provides the results they want, they will bring it to market. So just because other people have there kits ready now does not mean there not durable, nor does it mean they will be better, only time will tell the answer to either question.

Out of that I figure there were about 10 that would have given me a hassle like modquad is giving me. I don't have the time to mess with people like that. I know you guys told me that you would take care of anything like that but it really comes down to me taking care of it myself and you can see what this has caused. I apologize to the people that really do care.

I brought the other quote up because when I was into the racing in the mid seventies I would go to the track and through the week after school and spend a couple of hours practicing with a stock machine the correct lines on the track and go lap, after lap, after lap. I had myself in shape without even realizing it. When the weekend would come around the weekend warriors would show up with a lot better machines than I ever thought about having for that time period and I could hang right with the best of them because I was good with what I had and the training effect had been achieved. Now if I would have had the money back then I could have benefited from modification at that point. I see it now where so many people modify when they can't even use the stock machines full potential.

Geography 101 for jr. Aaen's shop is located just south of Milwaukee. RCR, is in the middle of Illinois. Arizona Bad Boyz are in...um, er, Arizona.
Now pipe design 101, to FLOWBENCH test/ design a pipe, cylinder head porting, takes lots of painstaking time. Then to properly durability test that equipment also takes a period of time beyond that. Facts and attention to details, plus some common sense.
Hey ProX please keep me posted on you dyno fun.

Yea , there are shops all over the us, but you only bring up the Local Polaris only shops. Go back and re-read your post, you seem to forget things.

History 101 for "jackass"
This has nothing to do with porting the heads, just a pipe. your post said another month on the head porting. So back to my questions earlier, how long does it take to durability test a pipe. Why don't you just admit, it took this long to get the product to perform the way they wanted it to. No shame in that, beter than putting something out there that actually loses power like some have done. Don't say everybody else was first to market products because they are not going to be reliable. Like i said before, just found something that worked a little faster.

This is a full system. The racer unit wasn't quiet....but who cares. There is gonna be a spark arrestor quieter version. The otherwise totally stock machine....not even a drop in K&N

RAPTORYFM660r,
Thanks for your brief racing history. I like to hear of people who are at least as old as I am. I too trained hard when I was in school because I liked to ride every day but in 1987 I was 28 years old and had raced for 20 years up to that point so I kind of lost the "go out and ride for fun" attitude. There is always an exception to the rule. I just got word that Chad Duvall just won the Pro Production Class again at Loretta Lynn's and he got 4th overall. Billy Ballance being first, Matt Smiley second and Chris Borich third. Here he rides a stock framed 400EX on the roughest track in the country, in the toughest racing in the US, and he doesn't train. I built him a practice bike this year and he barely rides it. The guy does me an awesome job and it's hard to yell at him for not training when he goes out and wins. He is also running third overall in points and first in the Pro Production Class. My hats off to him!
It's pretty bad when you start calling yourself "jackass" but it looks like the name is going to stick now. I'd rather be known as "one lap Dunlap motors" which isn't true than be known as "jackass" which is true.
