1994 Polaris 400L 4x4 2 Stroke clutch kits / performance addons help
#1
Hey there. I'm new to the forum, and have some questions about my 400L. I just bought a set of 26" ITP 589's for my bike, and want some more power now. I have boyosen reeds, and a dual stage filter on it. What is a good clutching recommendation for this bike? Does anyone build a quiet pipe for it? Has anyone run higher compression? Please let me know any helpful information. Thanks.

First off in my opinion you should have stayed with 25in tires the 26s are more aggressive and you will be trashing CV joints and stripping rear hubs.As for more power I am hooked on what I have in my 96 400 Sportsman.Aaen Torquer pipe(low-mid range)on the clutch kit it is best to go with what the pipe manufacturer recommend. but I went with a Polaris green primary and the Aaen blue secondary.Next step is porting.(I did this when I rebuilt)
