I have read numerous entries in this forum and I am confused!!!!
I have a scrambler 500 4x4 with a white brothers pipe. I was going to get the Hotseat clutching kit but then I heard that they are not good for trail riding. It would be better to get just the primary spring replace. Please help

For trailriding on the 500 Scram what I found to the best setup is keep your original helix , 50 gram wieghts , green primary (HPD or Hotseat) both the same and HPD violet secondary set at 2/2.
Now that is just for conventional clutch kits the team secondary clutch , Heelclicker, thundershift , heel-X and comet all have superior products avalible or coming out, but for regular clutch kits I found this setup to be the best for trail riding on the 500 Scram hope this helps and one more thing just cause this setup works for me does not mean it will be the best for you there are to many variables

I have the HPD aggressive clutch kit setup for a scram with the HPD exhaust. It came with 10-58 gram weights, brown primary spring, violet secondary spring set on 2-2 and I forgot what kind of helix. I havent put a tach on it but the clutch engages around 2000 rpm. When you are just putting around it will have a tendency to stall out. But I do a lot of slow technical trail riding and have never had it stall on a trail. You just give it enough gas for the clutch to engage and no problem. I does make a bad *** wheelie machine and accelerates a LOT harder.
