Default Unplug ETC Scrambler 400 1995

Hi,
I am having some trouble with my 1995 scrambler 400 cutting out for no reason. I would like to unplug the Electronic Throttle Control. Can this be done? If so, how, or, where, do I unplug it?
Thanks,
Dave
P.S. Impressive forum that you folks have here!

The kill wire is either of the two black ones coming from the throttle box. Pop the cover off and you can see the contacts that act as a switch for the ETC. Put a piece of electrical tape between those contacts and it will have no effect on your quad anymore.

I just foolowed my wires out to the circuit board and unplugged the necessary wires. It could also be the kill switch.
