new idea!!!
Are the floorboards and radiator gaurd aluminum?? I was thinking of sandblasting and polishing them. I think that would look very cool. Also, what is the stock backspacing on the scram wheels? What is it on Douglass .190's? I was wondering if I could make my machine wider with the rims or if I need spacers too. With polished rims, polished floor boards, polished rad gaurd, and polished dg bumper and mayber a new black body, it would look absolutely killer!!! What else is aluminum that cam be sandblasted and polished???

Do a magnet test to make sure that it is aluminum. My '01 Scram has aluminum floorboards and wheels. I wish they wouldn't have powder coated the wheels grey. Same me the money from having to go buy polished alum. I have the rear 2.5" wheel spacers and love them. If I did big air I would definitlely take them off due to bent axles.

Thanks all. I'll have to check them with a magnet but I am pretty sure that they are aluminum and my wheels may be aluminum as well. I'll just get the douglas's anyway.
cws,
So, you can specify offset for them? Up to how much? Does it cause any harm to the axels or anything else? I got the Renthal from Rocky MT for $60. They are the 7/8" aluminum bars with the banshee bend. I was told that the banshee bend is the best for aggressive riding. They should be here on Wednesday so I dont have them yet. I dont think that I will need loger cables. In fact, I think that these bars are lower than the stock ones.
