Default shock oil ??

what type of oil are you supposed to put in front shocks/struts? I have the fox shocks from hotseat w/ the dual rate springs anyhow I blew the top seal out of it (slightly more air than it can handle) and I need to find out how much and what kind of oil it needs. Oh yeah it's a 500 scrambler

They make a special oil just for shocks. I know Rocky Mountain ATV sells it. I would call HSP and find out what you need to use.

Unless you have to proper tools and I believe it's a certain kind of gas to recharge it, I wouldn't attempt it yourself. If you blew out a front strut inside the dual rate spring, I don't beleive you can even have it rebuilt. I know the fox rear shock can be, but I don't believe the struts can be rebuilt.
