4. his last great tip 101 / take out your thermostat, remove the guts leaving a small hole , reinstall , this will allow a constant circulation letting it run cooler ( gee ever here of engine ice, water wetter , purple ice

5. and the best I AM THE FACTORY ENGINE TESTER AND DESIGNER FOR POLARIS ( whatever )

I second that sp700 -what a waste of time reading the B.S he comes up with. LOL I got my 39 tooth from Gary and he told me no prob it fits with the stock chain - and guess what - he was right - it fit no problem and is a far better sprocket than the one sprocketspecialists sells. It wieghs less and is much stronger. I don't believe you ever talked to Gary after listening to your lies. I think 99blue is a bit delerious from breathing all that exhaust from chasing all the predators with W/B pipes. The predators from Garys shop (ie superbikeshop predators) are so far ahead you wont have to worry about that tho..

I can agree to the power an HMF makes. I was the first (that I know of) on the 'Bomb forum to step up & try a HMF for the sweet price of $189. It is loud, but deep. The exhaust pulse is felt from about 20ft back. The finish is like chrome when cleaned. The fit is good too. HMF is super to work with. This thing makes big time low end grunt. I'm going to order the new style quiet core though. My DS sounds like a Harley otherwise.... But stills sounds better than any other pipe I've heard. I'm an HMF believer. These guys are for real. I always heard good things about WB pipes too though. But you can have your FMF, Big Gun etc. They are the Nike of pipes. Not the best, just best advertised.

 

it definately has bark down low doesnt it Andrew. It is loud but not raspy, I like it alot but will create trouble for people who ride where noise is a problem. It is a nice piece of work all the way from craftsmanship to the performance.

 

Interesting info 99BB and Andrew. Like Heap questioned, I'd like to know the db's w/o quiet core....maybe you posted that and I missed it. Both are great companies. After our last harescramble when they pulled out a meter (same one I have so I knew I'd pass) I'm gonna error on the side of caution. The W/B with the quiet core and some added discs still keeps things reasonable. Please, let us know what you get for a 50% throttle also....would be interested in seeing the results.
