I just recently replaced a set of tires with some new Carlisles from Discount tire about 100 miles ago. They seem to ride and handle great.

I still run the stock tires on my 08 Wolverine. Yamaha did a good job picking the tires that go on it. It is better in the snow then my friends sportsman 500.

I left the stock Carlisle ACT tires on my 2007 650 Max XT Outlander and they always worked well for me. Went through lots of nasty stuff with them and didn't get stuck anymore than guys with Mudlites etc...

Just bought a new 2010 650 XT Outlander and am planning on leaving the stock tires on them also.

Funny thing, we have gone way overboard on tires. We honestly could set up every quad we have for any terrain at the same time (excluding mud), and all of our tires are mounted and waiting just in case we need a quick change.

Because of our collection, naturally the first thing I did when I brought the new LTR home was play musical tires in the rear. Much to my surprise, I prefer the stock tires for the majority of our riding. They are just 18 X 10-8 Dunlop Radials, but they just make for an easy ride.

Obviously when we hit the dunes the Haulers get slapped on, but I really like my stock tires... even on the track!

My buddy got 6000 WI & MI trail miles on his 07 Grizzly before having to replace the stock tires. This still had some tread left but not good enough for winter trail riding. My other buddy had 5K on his 07 SP800 before trading the quad in. The one rear tire had over 20 plugs in it but held air.

Sorta like having a "trophy wife" maybe better in the look's dept only!! I've always had a tire fetish ever since I had my first car. Wife complaining now to get rid of the tires in my garage.

When I bought the XTR's in November I also bought some Toyo MT's for my truck. Didn't need them just wanted them for the "look's"
