High idle

Default High idle

I have a 2005 500 sportsman ho, it has been a great machine but lately it will idle high. Around 1900 i think should around 1200 i can not figure what is causing this now. Any ideas why help.

Idle adjuster still mounted to the carb? A lot of times the wire holder will break and the adjuster will lay on the engine.Vibration can cause the adjuster to turn raising the idle.

Adjusted idle screw, not sure why is was high the spring is intact.
