Smoke at cold start

Smoke at cold start
My 2006 Yamaha wolverine for the past year or so has been bellowing some white smoke at cold start. It only ever does when you crank her up cold and the smoke will fade out once the engine warms up. I had the top end rebuilt probably 5 years ago but I don't see that being the issue. Within the past year and half I Installed a brand new OEM carburetor on it but I can't recall if it was smoking before or after the install. I'm kind of thinking it is valve seals but I'm wondering if ya'll have any idea of what it is.

Do you think that is something I need to worry about or do you think its something I can live with? It has never affected the oil capacity of the bike so far if that is the problem anyway.

Take the airbox lid off and find out if this is the problem. If it is, either the pipe route is slightly off so fumes don't condense back into the crankcase, or the engine is starting to "breathe hard" due to worn rings, which will get worse, slowly, so no big deal, but oil consumption will go up.
