Whats the ppoint of fliping the wheels on a blaster and what does it do?

it will make it wider at the cost of your a-arms and tie rods jmo

It makes it to where in races, you can go around corners faster keeping the quad stable at those speeds.it is effective.It may not look as good as as extended a-arms but its just about as good.
