Well I am more than willing to take you on. As the game show said...Come on Down!
I will go get hte ol 4 stroker out of the shop outback and dust it off some for your 250r...Now you said you don't have to put 10k in one to keep up with any 4 stroke so we are going to do this at a drag strip. Also lets put some cash on this...

Bigtwin, you are a little out of touch with reality, you could buy an r in great condition for $4000, throw a 310 on it ($950.00) or a power vavle 310 ($1500), a good pipe and silencer ($320) and a K&N ($30) and you are very competitive with all the new bikes everywhere, on the mx track, at the drag strip, or in the trails.
That is nowhere near the $10, 000 you are talking about, hell it is almost half.

Make it an 85' ATC250R...
Less weight = faster ride! Get with it guys - 3 wheels rock! And you sorry a$$e$ that say they are illegal, or hard to ride or whatever - keep that $hit to yourself - your just too pu$$y to handle it. It's too bad that the three-wheelers got such a bad rap.. Damn enviornmentalists (just for closing down riding areas), damn barbara walters (for helping the 10-year ban on the sale) , damn lawyers 9for bein' too damn greedy!
That bout' sums it up

Bigtwin, how fast have you taken the v700? I'm asking because your original statement was that it would take $10, 000 to keep up with the current bigbore 4 strokes. I haven't raced a V700 but what is the top end on it?
I'm sure there are faster machines than my R out there but with the $3000 I originally brought the bike for and the $1500 I've spent on the engine upgrades it does pretty good against the new big bore bikes. That's a far cry from $10, 000. I did quite a bit of paved drags this weekend with some members from this board (all moded big bore bikes) and I did pretty good.
