My 700 kicked as well last weekend at Glamis. I find that whatever I beat by a little up comp hill, I will beat by a ton on flat sand. The weight really holds it back from absolutely flying up the hills. Only races this time were a 440ex and an '04 piped Predator, got both up comp hill by about 2-3 quadlengths. I raced the 440ex on flat sand and spanked him pretty hard once the front end came down.
These Vs are pigs until they get a clutch kit, pipes and some airbox mods.
I love how everyone thinks they are slower than sh*t, get some strange looks when these "fast" guys look over after going all out and see me right there with 'em.
BTW- My bro's T5'd, etc '02 Banshee can only pass me above 65mph.
