I miss my bike everytime I see one , I am basically haveing to learn all over in the jumping and trick catagory . I had as much air time
as I wanted on my bike . 2 weeks ago while jumping my quad I finally got the nerve to start trickin it out , I started out with a simple
look back then the old air time bike days started to kick in and I was doing one handers , look back and point , a couple of very sloppy
no footers , then I tempted a nac nac , like I said tempted , not enough air time to complete . I can say that a quad gives you so much
room for mistakes on landing tricks , but as far as air time goes , I just can't seem to sail it like I could on my bike , I don't know if its nerves or just flat out need more seat time . I have only had my quad since my joined time here with the connection , so I am guessing I need more seat time .

Anyway , I love my quad and would'nt trade it for anything , and if my arm would allow me to be on a bike again , I probably would
be on one just because of the weight and air time capabilities .

 

At the dunes you can always see a group of bike guys jumping. The ones that are any good go way farther than any of the quad leapers I ever see. Last year one guy showed up while a bunch of bikers were jumping and sailed a couple of 100+ footers with big big big height and just shut everyone up. Then he just rode off, like how'd ya like that one kids. Yeah, quads are fun to jump, but goin big takes a bike.

 

Mine does. It takes awhile to get used to and some quads are easier to learn on than other but once you get it down you will have lots of fun.

 

SKA, What tracks are closer to you? Ever been to gorman, big bear, el mirage, beaumont,
pismo, glamis, dumont, red rock, wild walsh of the 15fwy, stoddard etc. Theres so much out here

you'd be suprised what a quad can do. i know you guys will laugh, but i jumped my blazer 19 feet. course it was an accident, and it would have really been cool if went 20 feet. then i would have cleared the other bank of the creek[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img] i have witnesses and x-rays for proof[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] go with the quad!

 

The biggest difference is that if you are going to go BIG, then you will probably have to upgrade most stock quads, where as bikes are built for this out of the box.

 

ive gone 15' on my dads stock scrambler 500 4x4.id rather jump with an elephant.ive gone alot farther on my ex.
