For me the big V is better than all the other quads. I'm not saying it's better for everyone, but it is better for me. I've beaten Z400's, 400ex's and raptors in straight line drags. Now before you Raptor owners get all excited, yes, Raptors are faster in stock form. However, installation of a more aggressive primary clutch spring in the V will make it quite a bit quicker than the average Raptor. The V is not a very good MXer because of it's size, but MX racing is not what I do. For trail riding in the mountains and the occaisional 300ft drag, it's quite a good bike. Very stable, good hill climber, reverse, comfortable. It has everything and does everything I need it to.

vtwiner,
What kind of mileage are you getting out of your V-Force on the trails with the stock tank? Do you know anyone who is running the larger aftermarket tank? I was curious whether or not the larger aftermarket tanks hurt the overall handling, and/or makes the front end light during climbs being that it's a rear mounted tank.

I really don't have a problem with the milage from the stock tank. I don't think it's as bad as people say. If I plan on going for a really long ride, I just bolt on the 6 pack rack and carry a extra can. I don't personally know anyone else who has an aftermarket tank and I can't see spending $200 for less of a gallon more capacity.
