i beleive that was dirt wheels that had that article was it not? the 3 fastest quads were faster than everybody else, whether it be dirtbikes, cars, or trucks. and the average speed of most of the fastest quads was about 90 MPH

Just probably another one of those kids who doesnt even own a quad trying to be cool. The only way it could reach those speeds would be some major structural mods and a motorcyle or snomobile engine.

 

yeah raptors go at least 130.....with jet engines and about $20,000 worth of mods... my raptor went about 213mph.....then i woke up and realized it only got into the low to mid 70's. Im smelling BS... why cant kids be happy with 45mph on a 250ex?? instead of owning world record speed machines... just my 2 cents

i guess u could consider me a kid (15 yrs old) but i can explain to u why i wont settle for a 45 mph 250EX. my lil bro has one, when i'm jumpin small dunes at pismo in 5th gear pinned on it (i broke my clutch on my 400EX so i took out the 250EX) and i'm still not gettin high enough, i need a faster quad. lol. other kids i know want faster quads so they can brag about it. and i know a few kids who simply have to have the best of everything, and their parents buy it all for them.

this is the top speed stock for top sport atvs like, last year. it doesnt have all of them, but it has the fastest.

 

I have a 04 yamaha raptor clocked at 79 mph and the only thing i did to it was spend 15 dollers to make it go faster and i also took of the spark areester and changed my tire to holeshots 20 inch with a 10 inch rim

 

i do 237 mph with my traxter and then i wake up
