One of my friends has a Raptor that is stock besides for an exhaust system and different sprockets, anyways I drag raced him in my truck which has a calibrated speedo(definetly accurate) and he was doing over a 100 before I pulled ahead of him. Also, I have found a Raptor that has 87 or 88 hp, and It is selling for pretty cheap. Would it be as reliable as a stock Raptor?

What kind of truck do you have? Also, there is NO way a Raptor with only an exhaust could even come close to pulling gears tall enough to even approach 100mph. Raptors DO NOT respond to taller gearing in stock form. A raptor with a pipe will actually be slower with taller gearing. Its powerband is matched perfectly to the stock gearing for its top speed. Go to the yamaha forum and ask the guys with the big bore kits about stock gearing and it's effect on speed.

my 2000 bone stock goes about 45-50 brand new stock 2000 was clocked at 52mph

I have a stock 2003 red/black Raptor and a cop friend of mine clocked me at about 2:00am one morning when nobody was around and he said he clocked me at 78mph. Thats stock.

 

But top speeds are gonna be different with different altitudes and temperatures. The cooler they run the more MPH's u can pump out.

 

i think a pred goes 74, but that was with a 140lb rider i think on a slight down hill. but it did 72 on the slight up hill with same rider.

The DS650 is the baddest machine on the face of the Earth. My friend and I both have STOCK DS650's. I hit 114 on mine and he hit 123 on his !!!
