i have the thor t-30s. There good but the sole on them gets ground down kinda fast and im just a trailrider. They give you good ankle support on most jumps. I also lost a screw that holds on one of the buckles. Other tahn that they are awsome boots.

The Alpinestars Tech 6's and 8's have a replaceable section of the sole for peg wear.

how long do you think it'll take motorsportoutlet to ship my boots? i didn't see an expected average shipping length. also what shipping company do they use? I'm not being over anxious just trying to figure out a rough estimate on when I'll get em. I got an invoice # but dont know how to track the shipping.

You should be able to call them with the invoice number and they can tell you if it has shipped yet....you won't be able to track anything without a tracking number....I think they email you with updates until you get a tracking number.

I don't know what shipping company they use, I've never ordered something from there. Typically I get my online stuff in about 6-8 days after ordering it....unless I choose a specific shipping time/method

Hey Rook,

to get a little off topic here ... where do you ride in WV? I know for most in WV that is a tough question because the answer can be "on my property" or "in my back yard" or "at my buddies place" but just wondering if there were any specific good places. My grandpa has a place over by Rosedale if you know where that is, a little hole in the wall. Ever heard of "Sleeth" .. I think that is how to spell it, at least that is how they say it down there. My family went there once when I wasn't able to go and said that was great riding, hill climbs and mud deeper than you should mess with. Just curious where you ride. I have an uncle somewhere around there that rides a Scrambler 400 all over the place. All of the guys down in the middle of nowhere near Rosedale ride Hondas - Rancher, Rubicon, etc. Down there dependability matters most

Not sure where Rosedale is...I usually ride around in Wyoming county with some buddies, near Mullens/Basin....We also ride around a place called Wagon Wheel/Pinnacle Creek....Great trails!!!

And then of course there's always the Hatfield/McCoy system to ride....they are supposed to opening a new trailhead near Pineville in January....

sorry I didn't post back earlier I've been away for awhile. The were REALLY stiff when I got em, they're starting to break in though plus I hadn't worn any boots in like 2 years so it took me a day to get used to em. They're awesome, High quality, nice buckles, nice everything, I'd highly recommend them(t30)
