hey i saw the mag for dirtwheels on their website....it said at the top
SHOOTOUT..Yamaha 450 vs Honda 450R
anyone know what they thought or if its even out yet?

I think that's the magazine I have that you are talking about. It is actually not comparing a real 450R to the Yamaha. They compare one that someone built (basically a race machine)

They compare the YFZ to a Lonestar CRF450 that cost over $20,000

their results were yfz had more mid range and the 450r had more bottom end.... The lap times were too close to deduct a winner
