cool, we got four sleds. An 02 Ski Doo MXZ 600, an 02 Polaris Indy 500 (mine), a 1991 Yamaha Exciter 2, and a 1989 Arctic Cat El Tigre.

My dad's Ski Doo is the fastest by far, it destroys my Polaris, and embarasses the other two.

I love pushing my Mach 1's throttle to the end and where I can fly by my brother when he's on the Citation. I asked a guy at a Ski-Doo dealer (this was at a fair actually and he was representing the dealer, he had a MXZ Rev 600 and an 800 with him as well as some Outlanders and traxters) if there is a big noticeable diffrence in a 600 and an 800. He replied "night and day"

Man my 583 just flies, I would like to try an 800 one day...

89 mach 583 vs 80 270 citation ditto. As for the differance between the 600/800 rev, It is not going to be "night and day" but of course the 800 is going to be faster it has 200 more cc's but from a dead stop the 800 will be doing more spinning than the 600.

I hear that some of the bigger engines aren't as durable because they are actually "bored" out versions of smaller engines. They do this because they want to keep the head pretty much the same size. My source tells me that he wants a 670 MXZ because it's a very tough engine. I don't know how reliable my source is though, but he's been growing up around quads and bikes and snowmobiles all his life.

About the 600 vs the 800 on take off, it all depends on the conditions and the rider. If the riders just push the throttle right to the end, then of course there's gonna be a ton of spinning. I think the 800 will win on take off if they both slam on the throttle. If the rider on the 600 is better than the rider on the 800, then the 600 will take off a lot faster. Also if the tracks are studded, then they are gonna take off a lot quicker too.

I raced my friend (he has a Formula S 380) and we were on quite a bit of powder. We both stepped on it and I dug pretty deep while he took off. It took me quite some time to catch up to him because when I finally got going, he was far ahead.

When I race my brother on the Citation on take off, I win. My track is a lot grippier compared to the worn out track on the Citation. Anyone care to see some videos I've made on my quad or sleds?

I would like to point out that there's one thing i dont like most on sleds is the braking system. All you have are rear brakes and this is bad. Studded tracks are a lot better in braking, but not everyone likes studs. I wish there were front brakes...

i bought a 03 polaris sks 700 last season and put 1800 miles on it in 3 months,my boss owes me some money so we are going to work out a deal for his 02 arctic cat zr800..ive got my 700 up to 119 mph on the railroad bed it was such a rush, the first ride i took on the quad after getting off the sled sucked, because it felt like i was riding a moped..i think snowmobiling is much more fun than atving..
