ya i know riding alone is unsafe. so thats why i have other friends that i can ride with that also have quads. also the machine will go only as fast as you push the throttle. which means that you could ride any quad that you want and be safe at the same time.

Are you sure about that. What happens when you push it a little too hard. You get really hurt
I must be talking to the son now.

trust me
start small
you will never be able to use the power of the big bores (heck I rarely do) (riding 20 years), until you learn to ride.
Learning to ride is easier on a 300ex or warrior or blaster or trailblazer. Which are all good bikes, and all of which will outperform a novice rider.
Dont try and start at the top. Work your way up the proper way.

Ya you were talking to the son, It is funny reading his prints vs mine--Dad vs son. I think i will try the smaller version-- What about places to rent in MA or NH any or where could i start looking for rentals. thanks

Not the 300EX.. Too small. Warrior is perfect. Big.. and good for his size. Good learners bike it the guys big. A warrior is the bike i learned on and still my first bike was a blaster after that. Even if I learned bigger than that. So i wanted to be safe. But after getting used to the places i ride at and used to using clutch and getting GOOD AT IT. Thats when i moved up. And bought a Raptor

A 300ex wont be small for him what-so-ever, Im 6' and i am not cramped at all, actually, the size is great, i have a lot of room to move around. dont get the 300ex size mixed up with the blaster . I would never start a kid off on a quad larger than 350ccs even if it is a good deal.
