Sawwweeet! Remind me when it is! I have gas money and a quad that seems to like jumping off cliffs!

I do know that you can't race a quad with EFI though, or at least I have read that. Unfair advantage! LOL.

THIRD & FOURTH GEAR AND HE WAS GONE!!!!!but the Z440 came back do to the fact that after the straight their is a huge corner. At the end of the day we both are very happy with our quad. I have to say my friends 310R is bad azz(ESR) sure knows how to build an engine.
yep, you can't deny a built 4 stroke its low end holeshot power....a nice advantage for the four stroke and an important one

I would just like to add my input on this topic...I've raced kfx700,660craptors,400ex's,z400,banshees...you name it I've raced it.....I will say this these new quads have exelent suspention and handle real well but as far as straight line acceleration there is no match even more so in my case...power valves mean big time power band...and also the way my suspention is set-up if I ride that clutch out just right I will smoke a 4-stroke on the hole-shot.....and I don't know about the R but tecate4's came with 49 factory hp......

I was just looking around the internet and some people said the tecate put out around 34 some said around 41 and then some people said the 250r put out around 31 and other people said it put out around 33 rwhp I don't know if any of these are right but I know its no where close to 49 unless maybe you were thinking of a quadzilla haha

OK.....I must make a half way apology the documention I had found said nothing about rwhp it refered to bhp my mistake but it still says manufacters estimated 49 bhp for the 1987 tecate4 it also says 57 bph for the quadzilla

Well if it came down to it I would still have to say that in a straight line drag a bone stock tecate would put a bit of a spanking on a yfz...but as you can see by my sig. neither of mine are stock....
