Default Is this a good deal?

I'm finally getting a four-wheeler! I found a deal on a Raptor and I was wondering if it was good or not. Here it is: 2002 Raptor w/ sand tires, exhaust and filter for $4000, well actually he wanted 4900, but my dad talked him down to 4000. So does this sound good? We went to look at and I was Impressed with and I haven't even rode it yet. Thanks

RIDE IT. don't get set on it till you ride it. also id recommend looking around to make sure thats what you want, first quad needs to be something that fits you nicely and you dont have to strain yourself to ride comfortably. also...rappy is a bit powerful for a first quad...

i would think long and hard about getting it seems like quite a big drop in money to me may be worth questioning why hes so willing to drop,

i myself got a zilla as a first quad wich i love but there has been times when i thought maybee i should have got something a little tamer to start with,

i had it run on the dyno and it showed 47.5hp at the rear wheels,

i had never even sat on a quad other than my boys lt50 let alone ridden 1, still havent actualy,LOL

im prety paranoid that its not fast and powerfull enough so the engines been torn down for a DrQ Rx rebuild, the quad was never dialed in properly from getting it last october and since the engines been torn down a few problems have been found that probably led to the poor dyno reading,

the guys at the shop are most amused that i ride a zilla that dont make enough power and dont go fast enough,
