Again, the 250r NEVER has beat the Banshee at Pikes Peak!!!! There have been MANY 250r's compete!!!! Some even by TC racing!!!

 

i KNOW A WHITE AND ORANGE AND CHROME 350R POWERVALVE THAT SMOKES DRAG BANSHEES A$$$ ALL DAY

 

Until it runs up against the 570 Shees in the deserts!!!!! Not to mention the 100+hp triple cylinder shee's with NOS!!!!!!

 

lol hey colbi... i can't see it outrunning 3/4ths of the bikes at atoka... put it up against any powervalve dragbanshee and it'll get stomped. If you're talking about stock against stock then the banshee is the superior bike... if you're talking about modded vs. modded then the banshee is the superior bike. you just can't do the same amount of stuff to both bikes and make the 250r faster. here's where it all boils down to "there is no replacement for displacement" lol

 

Who acually runs a powervalve when they Drag? Alot of people dont because they really dont do much, mabey even slow you down.

K1LL3rBEE- your crazy if you think a shee is better than an R in anything but a drag,. I know 295 R;s here are out runing 370 stroked shees. And I love it how a 250R with a couple mods will destroy a v-force "700" or raptor "660"..... well so much for "there is no replacement for displacement"

TellicoGrizz660- I bet you didnt know that the triple cylinder shee isnt really that fast, but acually kinda slow for what it is..

Anyway I bet most of you guys didnt know that Cpindic came out with a 510 big bore for a 250R huh? (will be released in about a month) Cant wait to see that on alky!

 

It all depends on how you ride, if you are a good banshee rider, trails arent a problem at all, even tight ones, but i would say the 250r would be less of a workout in the woods, if you know how to jump a banshee, then it can hold its own on the track, but i will say the 250r would also be better on the track just from what ive seen. strait line-no doubt about it, a banshee. mods- banshee, there are cheetah engines, Trex engines, triple cylinders like mentioned above, so much more mods for a banshee, you cant argue with that!

 

You sound like a biased honda owner, we dont need that stuff, we need opinions from both sides, not just "trust me 250r is a better wheeler", and about pikes peak, with the banshees not being stock, well 250Rs have that option too.

 

Like most people said above the 250r is king anywhere where good handling comes in. There are a lot of fast drag 250r's, but they for what they are, they are still 250r's. Banshee's are by far king in drag races. We will see what happens when the new CPI cylinder starts running.

hmmmmmm.............what can I say here, except you are wrong. Most guys that run Cheeta's, T-Rex's, and Twister's cylinders run powervalves.

 

everybody knows that the new grizzly 125 will beat any modded quad out there anywhere

 

Let this be said to all who talk about banshees smoking R's in a drag...stock for stock there is a 250cc quad that will smoke a shee in a drag trust me before I modded both of mine they would whoop shee's like I said stock for stock......hmmm what do ya know still smoking them....even the modded one's...and I'm not sure about the after market cyl's w/ power valves but the kips set up has a power band that will snap your neck......and I also belive that 250R's are far better that shee's
