I appoligize I didn't see Ds. I have never raced one around here so I have no opinion about them but I still say banshee because potential for speed and looks in the aftermarket is untouchable.

 

I think the KFX would probably lag behind the rest in most races but the others would all depend on the conditions. A big one would be whether the race is on dirt or pavement.

With equal riders I’d put my $ on the Predator in the dirt and the Banshee on pavement. That’s only comparing the quads you listed though. I think a YZF would take a Predator or a bone stock Banshee on dirt or pavement the TRX450 probably will too.


I’ve not seen many DSs. They are pretty rare in Florida due to a lack of wide open spaces. It might be a contender in a drag race but I wouldn’t want one for anything else. The first time I saw one at a dealer I lifted up on the front and couldn’t believe how heavy it was.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

 

In a dirt drag of 350ft, it would be very hard for the other quads to bea the YFZ450!
With slicks and a wheelie bar on pavement the Banshee would be very hard to beat!

 

in the new atv sport they had a shoot out btwn a raptor, ds, predator and v force. according to them, from 0-30 the v gets there fastest at 2.61 seconds with the ds and raptor tied at 2.71 seconds and the predator last at 3.02 seconds. from 0-60, the ds came in first at 8.84 seconds, the pred 2nd and 9.86 seconds, the raptor 3rd at 10.15 seconds, and the v force last at 11.18 seconds. "To keep it fair, we evaluated each model the same way, at the same location and for the same number of radar runs." i think this makes it a fair shoot out...hope this helps with your decision...

 

I agree with the guy that made the comment about traction. Get some paddles on and I believe the bashee all the way with the rapter in a close second

When you quit sniffing glue you need to race a ds. With some one on it that nows how to ride it.
