I probably won't be gettin one soon I just found out! But as soon as my truck that I haven't got yet gets payed off, I will probably get either the raptor or a z/kfx, but I decide that then! Thanks!

1 bigds rider,
nope i wasnt seeing things, the 440 was a friend of my dads. And my bike and other 400s were consistently behind the 440 2-4 bike lengths up comp hill and olds. We even switched bikes, the 440 was always ahead the same distance.
There is also another 440 but with only the big bore kit, without the cam, it runs 2 lengths ahead of the piped EXs and 2 behind the 440 with cam and porting.

Save your money and get a 450R I''m telling you it's the way to go. I've seen the YFZ450R in action and its incredible what it can do. With a pipe rejetting and timing adjustment it will fly. Just this past weekend I saw a guy come to a riding area here in Tucson, unload his YFZ450R and just smoke everyone racing.
Banshees
400EX
CR500 on a 250R frame
Preditors
Z400
KFX400
Raptors
I spoke with the guy and he told me all he did was change pipe, rejetted, and changed airfilter (K&N). He was so excided in what the machine could do, he just had this big smile! Small investment, big gains
