i'm 15 6'1 160 pounds and the guy on the ds prolly weighs 160-180. The guy on the banshee is like 130.The guy that has the ds sold his zuki 250r and got the ds and he said he would of rather kept the lt 250.
On start i get bout a bike length on the ds and the banshee is left spinning. But then the banshee catches the ds and passes and comes within a half bike lentgh of me. The ds is about 1 to 2 bike length's behind the banshee.
I am the only stock fourwheeler out of the race(except for my shockwears)

I see pipe ds having a hard time beating piped raptors. I sold my raptor and got a 450 because the 450 is faster. If the ds and either one of the 450's has a pipe on it i dont see the ds beating it in a drag.

Thanks for all the info guys
If there is not much in it either way it wont matter to me as long as the DS is in the ball park with the latest and greatest,
I think i will go for one I know the handeling might not be what im used to but i like the comfort factor. my 250 handels great but the comfort sucks probably due to tired suspension, and trying to kick start it on while hanging the front over a shear drop at the top of a half grass dune is no fun at all
So electric start in any gear is the way ahead
The yam was a contender but i can get a far better deal on the DS and i think it might be more reliable only my guess, dont want hundreds of posts from ticked off yam owners.
Thanks for your help

450's kill DS's in the sand. I haven't seen a yfz anywhere else than dumont, so i dont know how quick they are on other surfaces. In the dunes, stock for stock, or even a piped DS vs yfz, fyz always kills the ds.
