BigZ400....that fmf slip on is robbing you of power! LOL. Actually FMF isn't very good for four strokes, and a full system would help open your Raptor up some more.

As for the new Suzuki 450...I'm sure it will be more comparable to the YFZ then the R turned out to be. I think the Suzuki will beat the YFZ, or it should. But beating I'm not figuring on it beating a piped Raptor completely stock. I could be wrong, but I think the new 450 will be a faster, more comfortable, hopefully with reverse, MX machine. I think it will be something like a R(comfort) and YFZ(power) put together. I hope Suzuki gives this new 450 everything it can to surpass the yfz and r. But I'm doubting it will come out with power to beat down a piped Raptor. If it does, then it will put all quads to shame, and will be the new craze.

 

WoW, Im very Impressed. Y660R that was very well said and very non brand loyal. Talk like this usualy gets a rise out of the raptor guys. As you can see from my pics I have an equally modded raptor in my garage. I cant beat him. But I like to razzz him about the 450 that will beat him. Thanks,

Hmmm tires after the stockers.I duno yet something besides any brand with holeshot tread pattern.
Well my choices at the dealership were a white/yellow z400 or orange kfx400.This was in Mississippi.I was in Miss. meeting a guy from Ebay to sell my 02 CR250.I would have probably chozen green plastic over the orange if they had one at the time.The dealership in LA had a green one though but I didn't want to wait another day hehe so I went orange. If anybody knows were I can see pic's of a orange KFX400 with an aftermarket graphics kit let me know.

 

i have a friend who has an orange KFX and he has the same problem.... i'm sorry that i don't have a kit in mind but if u find out about one can u tell me.... also i have a white suzuki Z 400 and i'm looking for a nice graphics kit and original.... if u know of one.

These posts are like discussing religion or politics... No one will ever be right. Plus there are too many variables and too many biased opinions. You guys could debate over this for years! lol...

By the way, the raptor would smoke the Z! haha

 

The craptor will not smoke the Z.

 

A stock raptor will beat a stock z in a drag race. Smoke probably isnt the word.
