banshee all the way you get a twin cyclider very sweet 2 stroke and theres alot of stuff out there for them then any other qaud . you can mod them up to beat most other quad but the bad thing is there not as good in the woods then the others and the power band is fun to play with

 

This year Bombardier shaved 20lbs. off the Ds. Seems to help. Not sure which would win with the mods you indicated. The Ds makes more horsepower stock and seems to really respond well to mods. My opionion is yes the DS would win.

 

It would be a close race between the raptor and ds but i think the raptor would take it.

 

I would go with the trx450 or the yfz450 i have a crf450 and its does a good 110(gps) on pavement.
with a factory-4

 

YAMAHA YFZ450 is what you want if you like four stokes (which sux) but if your smart go with the BANSHEE its a awesome quad and it TWO STOKE. if been the same since 1987 why change. RIGHT

 

I am a big fan of the Shee as it has tons of aftermarket available for it, but like you said same since it started = no updates to keep with current technology = buy it and immediately need new shocks. Raptor has same shocks as the Shee = need to get new shocks. Why buy a new quad with outdated suspension just to spend another $1200 - $1500 to get a good suspension? For bigger guys I say the DS, but other than that I say one of the new 450's.

This topic is not making any sense. Do you guys not see that he said he doesn't want a banshee? So why keep saying, I would get a banshee..it's two stroke.

If your looking for a good trail capable quad, with the mod's you are listing, then go with a Raptor. It's that simple.
