Find a post anywhere where I brag about how much better a raptor is than a pred and say that preds are inferior in every way as you have...

I think that anyone, regardless of what atv they ride, who just posts to say "my quad is so much better in every way, the other one sucks" is making a useless post. You have done it, and so have others. There were numerous threads about kids with blasters who stated they could beat all comers. These types of things are immature, regardless of the person who types them. Even if someone were to say that such and such a 450 was better than a 250 4 stroke sport, it would not be true for everyone. THose who dont want to clutch, those who are inexperinced, or a rider that does not want that much power or that big of an atv. All of these things are relative.

 

And I never stated that I dislike anyone. I think some of these posts and ideas are less than intelligent, but it takes more than a disagreement with someone over an atv for me to decide that I dislike them, especially over the internet.

 

well think about it how would someone admit a poolaris is faster than anything lol and top speed means nothing on a track and i would rather have a little light raptor than a big bulky predator with wack wanna-be raptor plastics, like every quad on the market. and its more rider then quad on a track anyway and i wouldnt mess with maddog he seems like he knows what hes talking about oh and i think the only good thing a predator is good for is towing out a broke down rappy lol

 

I don't give a crap wether maddog know what he is saying or not, because if he did, he would admit that all brands and all models have extremely fast quads.....plus the pred is faster than you guys think, currently the fastest in midwest, maybe fastest somewhere else(at the drags anyways), so that say something, maybe not that it is a great quad or all of them are fast, or it is the fastest, but that they can be fast and they can be a good quad.

 

ok how about every just stop fighting and let this thread die, on any given day one quad can beat another it just depends on riders, when we were racing for fun i got beat by a 400ex when i was riding my yfz450 it wasn't the quad it was the rider see he has been riding for like 30 years, builds motors for a living, and at every actual race he laps everyone like 5 times in a 20 lap race but then when my other friend rides the 400ex i beat him everytime because we have been riding for the same amount of time it's just i am the better rider

now if you are talking about drag racing all you have to be able to do is know how to go straight big deal who cares, depending on rider skill the pred and raptor will share wins even if the rappy can beat it on top

but who leaves there quads stock anyways if they are going to be racing???

 

Nobody leaves their quad stock for racing.

And, uh, as for weight... put a Predator and a Raptor on a scale. There isn't much between them at all... a lot of the advertised dry weights are utter B.S.

 

BradRacer you say its the Fasest in the Midwest, Yea Right. Stock for Stock it is not the Fastest in the Midwest and I know that mod for mod it is not the fastest. All I got to say is that Yamaha pretty much owns the Sport Quads and everyone else is trying to catch them.

 

How do you know that it isn't the fastest in the mod class?? At monkey butt ( a big drag racing event in the midwest) the pred/other polaris's pretty much cleaned house......YRO you talk a lot of crap for not knowing anything about a pred, or how fast our preds here are, if you ever are in the area, come see me.....
