Where the hell are you guys riding that all you ever do is drag racing on pavement?
Personally, I think drag racing is boring and fairly pointless. It always comes down to the one with the most money and engine building experience.

my opinion on the whole thing is this:
Look at what we got: a 650 a 660 and a 500. The 500 can keep up with the 660 pretty good and doesnt take much to stay with (or beat) the 650. Imagine if the pred was a 650 or 660 also....it would just blow away both these 2 machines!
IMO, it just shows how well the pred was built....and this was my opinion even before I bought one.

In stock form, it is up to the company to design the bike. A lot of people think the new 450's make the rule...there is no replacement for displacement irrelevant. When basically you are comparing a detuned 660 or 650 against a 450 with the works. In stock form, most quads are detuned and held back to what they could be.
And I've said it before, in stock form the Pred feels a lot like a Raptor in the power department, but I have never seen a Pred beat a raptor stock vs. stock, and all the pothead hippies on pred's that say they take their stock pred and beat a piped raptor are just talking out their @$$. I have only gotten to race one pred, and I pulled 7-10 lenghts in a 1/4 mile race. That was my Alba pipe kit vs. stock pred.
I think stock vs. stock would be close. Real close with rider being a major factor. But oh well, I know now I've got something for almost any pred that rolls up. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

wow yammaha660....I don't think we are potheads and hippies.....I hope you weren't talking about the good pred riders, otherwise that almost deserves an a$$ kickin'.....I know that they can't beat a piped rappy....duh, whoever says that is dumb.....but stock for stock, I would say they are close, very close, almost depends on rider.....and do you seriously race 1/4 mile??? The best bet for the pred would be to race like 300 or 600 ft.....

Yamaha 660r what did you Raptor run the 1/8th stock and what does it run it now? I have ran 8.9s several times on a stock Pred with hunderds of witnesses. And until this day I haven't seen a stock or piped Raptor run it or for that matter a member on a stock/piped Raptor claim to run it. As soon as I can I will scan or post the evidence or if I'm lucky I'll see you in Texas and show you myself.
