Dirtwheels hasn't said the DS was the fastest since 1999. They loved it when it first came out, and those were the worst DS's built.(though the problems were minor) Don't believe magazines.

YRO joined a year ago... that's not that recent.

Predators will run with Raptors which will run with DS's. Try them all. Too many people just listen to the mags and don't do their own comparisons. If they did, we'd see a lot less Raptors in the dunes....

 

that last test i saw was non sense i do you compare piped machines with stock and say the moded win that isn't a even test. now what would be nice to see is take fine tune machines and see where everything falls put the same tires and all. one of the tests had the ds with some odd sand tire seems it was the gecko what a joke take a heavy machine like that and expect geckos to move it good, now put on some 22"haulers and gear down a littlesee what they think of that mod.

YRO joined the forums about 5 months before bradracer did. But that shouldnt matter. An idiot could have joined a long time ago (there have been many) and a mechanic or racer like knowsalot or docturbo could have joined yesterday. Your knowledge of atv's does not have a lick to do with the time you have spent wandering these forums.

 

man i can't believe all the fussing that goes on about who has the fastest. don't ya'll know there will always be someone with something faster? YRO said he is 2mph faster than his friends preditor. 2mph doesn't sound like much to brag about to me. he might be heavier or you might be running taller tires? the quads being built today are all pretty dang good! i have a ds and i know it's not the best for a smaller riders or someone wanting to ride in the mud but it is the best for me. i drive an excursion and for what i do with it it's the best one for me but for someone that lives in a large city and has to drive in heavy traffic it wouldn't be the best. enjoy what you have and respect others peoples choices. after all they didn't buy their atv for your approval. if someone ask for your opinion give them your honest opinion on what you own and if you have owned another brand and had problems with it then let them know but don't do it in an insulting way that will **** off people who own that brand. if someone mentions a problem they had with the brand you just happen to own just respectivly say if you have had the same problem or not but don't get in a pissing match. if you own a quad and like it than thats all that should matter not what someone else thinks of it.

BradRacer I joined before you so you can't say much there guy, Plus I never said a Pred was slow. All the Big Bores are all so close in Stock Form. All I said was out of me and My buddys Quad ( Pred ) My Raptor his faster then his and there both completely Stock and we weigh about the same. He might got me by 10 pounds if that. We do side by side runs and I just pull away from him. I have raced a couple of DS 650's also and I have won some and lost some, All good quads in my book though

 

yeah I realize that I have been a member less than you, but I don't always say things like you do.....for instance that you "pull" away from a pred.....come here and race me, I'll go back to stock and show me that you pull away, I don't think so.....you always say how you can beat preds, but I don't believer it.

 

Ask Superballs about it, He will tell you that I pull away from him. How fast did your Pred go when it was Stock? His is doing 74

 

ahhh.....I don't know, and I guess I don't really care either, the pred is better than the rappy, in many senses.....so I'm satisfied
