Maybe stock for stcok the ds MIGHT out run the raptor but pipe all of them and the raptor will walk all over the pred and ds. and as for the pred the raptor beat it stock for stock raced and seen the raptor beat them.

 

Utter crap. The Raptor has bad handling traits. The motor has possibility but runs out of breath fast. A piped Predator is badass and a piped DS will knock either off easily in a drag race.

But who drag races only? IMHO, the DS and Predator are the only two choices of the three. Both are badass, the Predator handles better; jumps better while the DS is a desert destroyer.

 

If you says so man but man would love to meet you and show you that a raptor can beat your pred and a ds.

all three bikes are good for something in different areas of riding out here in cali we have a thing called "4-stroke wars" in january. and the fastest bar none and winners for the last 3 years have all been raptors. now if you want to know which one you can make the fastest and win racing up a wall of sand or at the drags then its a raptor.if you are still dumbfounded then start planning for the trip out west and prove it. you people are wasting good riding time on your computers.

 

Although I have a hard time believing the rappy is sooo much faster than the pred and the ds....I'll just give in because rappy owners are full of themselves.(most) And even if the rappy wins on the drag strip, the ds wins in the dunes, and the pred will win on the mx and xc track.

 

And the chance to end the debate is coming up. I truly hope some fast predators show up for atpn.

 

Hey Raptors, If you ever plan on being in the Buffalo area let me know, so I can bitch slap your Raptor. Both of my closest riding buddies have piped Raptors that are jetted properly and in my opinion are better riders than I am. But when we race, the pure brute force of my X walks away from their Raptors every time. It is a WELL KNOWN FACT that the 04' Baja/X IS the fastest production quad that is made today. You have to realize that a Raptor is at a considerable horsepower disadvantage against the DS Baja/X in stock form. A raptor has around 36hp and the DS has around 48hp. Granted both of these figures are taken at the countershaft sprocket. The DS's engine is the same one that is used in the BMW 650 street motorcycle and has been thoroughly researched, tested, and perfected over the years. The only real advantage a Raptor has over it's competition is reverse. So in closing, come to Buffalo and receive your proper smackdown.

 

Uhhhh, You forgot about weight differences.

 

Weight difference doesn't matter for top speeds and is more than overcome with the torque and HP differences of the two machines.
