All of this trash talk about preds vs. Raptors and who is faster. Who cares! They are both slower than the 04' DS. You can throw in piped versions of both machines in my comment too. But if I have to get involved with this pred vs. raptor fight, my pick from my experience would be that the pred is slightly faster on top end. The raptor is a better jumper, is easier to throw around in the air and the ground, and is more comfortable overall than the pred. The raptor also gets to top speed faster and is a wheelie champ.

Cop, you are right, the 04 ds is faster than both. Very nice machine with more potential than both as well.
100 yards = 330ft approx. It depends on how your strip runs it. some run 300ft, some 100yds. Just another thing to take into consideration when comparing times.

This thread is getting too deep. All three bikes are good quads. Each has an area where it is better than the others. Go race these quads and make your own opinion. I have seen alot of races, and there are too many factors that can happen to change the outcome.
I dont have any problems with any of these quads and I'm not brand loyal. If I could own all three I would.

Yeah no kidding, use some of your guys own medicine.....Not a single one of you will ever give any credit, especially when it is earned/due to the pred...so why would we give your craptors any credit??? And the yfz isn't built as well as the pred, so I highly doubt it would hold up on a xc race.
Boy, and all someone would have to do is go to any major event and win to get this credit you seem to want. Just keep the 4.2 sec 300 ft number in mind. And, the run is on video.

I raced a raptor 660 at the motocross track and he had no chance against me .I own a quadracer lt250
so I personall y from what I've seen rate the predator as the fastest and don't think it can hang with my quad
