my freind says that his raptor will out run the 450r and i told him that it would be a close race but he thinks he will blow a 450r away what do u guys think cause i need somthing to out run that raptor

 

What are his mod's?

 

it is mostly stock nothen much just couple lil think nothen to help the speed other than air filter but stock for stock who would win

 

obviously the raptor if its a long race but hell lose first couple gears...

 

He might beat the r in a drag but he wont "blow it away"

 

The R will probaly take it in a short drag, but anything over 300ft will belong to the Raptor. The Raptor pulls really hard on topend, and in the long run will more then likely beat the R.

 

stock for stock, I would have to put my money on the 450r. I saw a race between a raptor and a 450r, both had aftermarket pipes, but that was it, and the 450r just kept killing the raptor. The strip was probably about 400 ft long, and the raptor just couldn't hang with the 450r. The only thing I could say in the raptors defence would have to be that I didn't know the people racing really good, so the rider on the raptor could have had no idea what he was doing, but I think the 450r is just a lot quicker, and isn't that much slower on the top end, and plus, I rode a stock 450r and it goes.

 

Nothin but a toss up at this point but I dont agree with anyone blowing anyone away. It will be close prob just depend on the riders.

 

It would be a really tight race. The 450r will win through the first couple gears but then the Raptor will just fly by and just pull away. Close Race in a 300 but after that the Raptor will win.

 

Ive ridden both and about 5 out of 10 times, either one could win, they perform somewhat close but it mostly depends on who gets the holeshot, with both geared high in first, (the 450R has a VERY high first gear), it definatly depends on rider about 90%
