don't know about the quads because i haven't been riding them that long but! i raced two stroke bikes for over 10 years and switched over to four strokes when the yz426 came out. as far as bike go the 426 and the new 450 have power on the low end and all the way to the rev limiter. none of the two strokes could out power me on the urns and i would pull ahead coming out of the turns because of the torque. someone said four stroke quads were just boring and the rider would just let the torque pull him around. true, true. but then again i've past forty and after a number of surgeries and cronic back problems thats the riding i do. if i wasn't so messed up it would be hard for me to choose, probably would have to have one of each.

Psycho has a good point. I love my LT and its fast and light and jumps and all that, but I'm also 43 years old, and that Raptor sure is comfortable to get on and ride now and then. It's nice to have both.

that was totally uncalled for. if i could get my wheel chair to go faster i would catch you and put a whooping on you with my walking stick. that is if they let me out of the nursing home for a day amn you were kinda lost their shady rascal, long ways from home. did you get to do any riding while you were hear? come on back some day and we can go out and watch the young boys ack a fool while we set under a shade tree drinking some cold ones and nibble some bar b-q.
